Before you file a bug
Found something broken? Thanks for taking the time to flag it. A clear report gets fixed far faster, so run through this checklist first.
Check these first
- I've read the FAQ.
- I've tried the relevant Troubleshooting steps.
- I've checked Known limitations to confirm this isn't expected behavior.
- I'm on the latest version of KashCal.
- I've searched existing issues to see if it's already reported.
What to include
The more of this you can provide, the better:
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- Steps to reproduce: the exact sequence that triggers it.
- How often it happens: every time, or sometimes?
- Your KashCal version (in Settings / about).
- Your Android version and device model.
- Which calendar service is involved, if it's sync-related (iCloud, Nextcloud, etc.), but never include your password or full email address.
- Screenshots, if they help show the problem.
Protect your privacy
Never put passwords, app-specific passwords, or full account details in a public bug report. Describe the provider ("an iCloud account") rather than pasting credentials.
Where to file it
Open an issue on the KashCal GitHub issue tracker.
Because KashCal is open source, the issue tracker is the single place where bugs are triaged and fixed.
