Install KashCal

You can get KashCal from any of the places below. Pick the one you already use. They all install the same app.

Google Play​

KashCal is on the Google Play Store. Open Play, search for KashCal, and tap Install. Play then updates it like your other apps. It's the same free, open-source app as everywhere else, with no account, ads or trackers.

F-Droid​

F-Droid is the open-source app store for Android. It builds KashCal from the public source code.

  1. Install the F-Droid app from f-droid.org.
  2. Search for KashCal.
  3. Tap Install.

IzzyOnDroid​

KashCal is also in the IzzyOnDroid F-Droid repository, which often gets releases a little sooner than F-Droid. Add the IzzyOnDroid repo to your F-Droid client, then search for KashCal.

Obtainium​

Obtainium installs KashCal from its GitHub releases and tells you when an update is out. Add this repository:

GitHub Releases​

Download the APK from the GitHub Releases page and open it to install. If you haven't installed an APK from your browser or file manager before, Android asks you to allow it first.

The app's package name is org.onekash.kashcal. KashCal is Apache-2.0 licensed, and the source is on GitHub.

After installing​

KashCal opens with a local calendar you can use right away. It needs no account or sign-up. To bring in your other calendars, see Sync & Accounts.
