Install KashCal

KashCal lives in a few open, trusted places. Pick whichever you already use. They all install the same app.

F-Droid is the open-source app store for Android. It builds KashCal from public source code, so you can trust that the app matches what's published.

  1. Install the F-Droid app from f-droid.org.
  2. Search for KashCal.
  3. Tap Install.

IzzyOnDroid

KashCal is also available in the IzzyOnDroid F-Droid repository, which often gets new releases a little sooner. Add the IzzyOnDroid repo to your F-Droid client, then search for KashCal.

Obtainium

If you use Obtainium, you can install KashCal directly from its GitHub releases and get update notifications. Add the repository:

GitHub Releases

You can download the APK directly from the GitHub Releases page and install it manually. You may need to allow installing from unknown sources for your browser or file manager.

The app's package name is org.onekash.kashcal. KashCal is published under the Apache-2.0 license, and the full source code is on GitHub.

After installing

When you first open KashCal, it works immediately with a local calendar. No account or sign-up is required. To bring in your other calendars, head to Sync & Accounts.
