Share an event as a card

Got plans worth sharing? Turn any event into a good-looking card and send it to anyone. The card goes out as an image with a tappable calendar file attached, so whoever you send it to can add the event to their own calendar in one tap. No app to install, no account to make.

How to share

  1. Open an event to see its quick-view.
  2. Tap the Share as card icon in the top row.
  3. Pick a style:
    • Standard for everyday events.
    • Celebration for birthdays, parties, and anything worth a little flair.
  4. Tap Send and choose where it goes (messages, email, anywhere you can share).

What the recipient gets

  • A card image showing the event's title, date, and time.
  • A calendar file (.ics) they can tap to add the event to whatever calendar app they use.

If the calendar file can't be created for some reason, KashCal still sends the card image on its own, which is useful on its own.

Private by design

The shared card is a clean, single copy of the event. It carries the title, date, and time, and nothing else. Guest lists and organizer details are not included, so sharing a card never leaks who else is involved.
