Languages

KashCal speaks your language. It's translated into 67 languages, covering most of the world's widely-spoken ones along with many regional variants.

How the language is chosen

By default, KashCal follows your device language automatically. Set your phone to your preferred language and KashCal matches it.

On Android 13 and newer, you can also give KashCal its own language, separate from the rest of your phone. KashCal advertises all 67 languages to Android, so it appears in the system per-app language picker (Settings, then Apps, then KashCal, then Language). Pick a language there and KashCal uses it regardless of your device language.

If KashCal doesn't yet have your exact regional variant, it falls back to the closest available language, and ultimately to English.

Help improve a translation

Translations are part of the open-source project. If you spot something that reads awkwardly in your language, contributions are welcome on GitHub.
