KashCal comes in English plus 67 translations. Those include regional variants, such as Brazilian and European Portuguese, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

How the language is chosen​

KashCal follows your phone's language. Change your phone's language and KashCal changes with it.

On Android 13 and newer, you can give KashCal its own language:

  1. Open Android Settings, then Apps, then KashCal.
  2. Tap Language and pick one.

KashCal then uses that language, whatever your phone's language is. KashCal has no language setting of its own.

If KashCal has no translation for your exact regional variant, Android uses the closest language KashCal has, and falls back to English.

What gets translated​

KashCal's own screens are translated, including the name of the built-in Local calendar. Exported .ics files keep the English name "Local", so other apps that read the file always see the same value.

Your own content stays as you typed it. KashCal never translates event titles, notes, locations, or the names of calendars from your accounts.
