Invites

Invitations scatter. One arrives by email, one you spotted in a week view and meant to answer, one you don't remember at all. Invites collects the ones still waiting on you into a single list.

Tap the avatar in the top-right corner to open the account hub, then tap Invites. When something is waiting, a count sits next to the row, and on the avatar itself, so you can see there's a reply owed without opening anything. Past 99 it reads 99+.

What lands here​

An event shows up when all of these are true:

  • You're listed as a guest and haven't replied yet.
  • The event still has an occurrence in the future. Once the last one has passed, the invitation drops off the list on its own.
  • You're not the organizer. Your own events don't ask you to RSVP.

If you have several accounts connected, each invitation is checked against the account whose calendar it lives in. An invitation in your work calendar is your work invitation, even if the same address is on your personal account too.

Replying​

Each card shows the date and time, the event title, who invited you, and the location if there is one. A colored dot marks which calendar it came from. Today and tomorrow are named rather than dated.

Tap Yes, Maybe, or No. Your answer is recorded straight away and the card leaves the list; the reply itself goes to your calendar server on the next sync, which KashCal starts immediately. For a repeating event, your reply covers the whole series.

Declining also clears any reminders that event had set, so a meeting you've said no to won't buzz your phone later.
